Alberto Sonnino

Alberto is a Research Scientist at Facebook Novi based in London. Before joining Facebook, he was a co-founder and researcher at chainspace.io which built a scalable smart contract platform. His research interests are in systems security and privacy engineering. His main areas of research include distributed systems, blockchains, and privacy enhancing technologies. He has a special interest in cryptography, and he particularly likes designing, implementing, and evaluating high-performance distributed systems.
